Abstract
This paper examines the transformative role of artificial intelligence (AI) in arts education, focusing on its potential to address the limitations of traditional teaching methods and enhance creativity, critical thinking, and cultural understanding. By integrating AI technologies such as generative adversarial networks (GANs), machine learning, virtual reality (VR), and augmented reality (AR), this study highlights how AI enables personalized and interactive learning experiences. It emphasizes AI's contributions to generative and constructivist learning, immersive environments, and interdisciplinary connections. However, challenges such as technical complexity, ethical concerns, and the need to balance technology with humanistic values are also discussed. The findings suggest that AI can revolutionize arts education by fostering inclusivity and innovation, empowering students to become creative, critically thinking individuals. Future research should address ethical issues and refine AI applications to align with the core values of arts education.
