Peer-Review Policy and Editorial Process
The International Journal of Current Research and Techniques (IJCRT) is devoted to maintaining the highest standards of scientific integrity and scholarly excellence. We are committed to ensuring the quality, validity, and relevance of the scientific articles we publish. Central to this commitment is our rigorous peer-review process, outlined in the following Peer-Review Policy.
The Peer-Review Process:
-
Submission: Manuscripts or scientific papers submitted to IJCRT undergo an initial assessment by our editorial team to verify adherence to the journal’s formatting guidelines and scope. Manuscripts that meet these criteria advance to the peer-review stage.
-
Reviewer Selection: The Editor-in-Chief assigns manuscripts to expert reviewers who possess relevant expertise in the manuscript's subject area.
-
Double-Blind Review: To ensure impartiality, IJCRT employs a double-blind peer-review process, where the identities of both authors and reviewers remain anonymous throughout the review.
-
Review Evaluation: Reviewers assess the manuscript’s originality, significance, methodology, data analysis, interpretation, and overall contribution to the field. They provide constructive feedback and recommendations for improvement.
-
Editorial Decision: Following the peer review, the Editor-in-Chief evaluates the reviewers' feedback and recommendations to make a decision on the manuscript. Possible decisions include acceptance, revision, resubmission, or rejection.
-
Author Response and Revision: Authors receive the reviewers' comments and are given an opportunity to address the critiques and revise their manuscripts accordingly. This revision process aims to enhance the quality and clarity of the submitted papers.
-
Editorial Oversight: The Editor-in-Chief and Editorial Board oversee the peer-review process to ensure its integrity, fairness, and adherence to the journal's standards.
-
Transparency and Accountability: IJCRT is committed to transparency and provides authors with access to reviewers' comments and editorial decisions. We encourage feedback from authors and reviewers to continuously improve the peer-review process.
The peer-review process is essential for the dissemination of high-quality research and the advancement of scientific knowledge. At IJCRT, we take pride in upholding rigorous peer review standards to ensure the credibility, rigor, and impact of the research articles we publish across all disciplines.
