In recent times, mobile technology has been significantly instrumental in improving safety and emergency response systems. In this research, we present a mobile application called HerSentinel that allows real-time safety for women and incorporates an emergency response system within the mobile device. The design is meant to minimize response time while increasing accessibility in case of emergencies. The app includes features such as SOS alert, motion sensor, voice command, and real-time location tracking with authorized guardians. The app is coded using React Native for the front-end and Node.js for the back-end to facilitate seamless communication. APIs are used to guarantee efficient data transmission. Data security is ensured through HTTPS and JWT. Unlike existing technologies, HerSentinel does not use persistent monitoring and responds to emergencies only if necessary. Testing conducted shows fast response rates. Users find the application easy to use.
