Step-by-step guide for all major UPI apps and banking methods
Depending on the payment method, the ID may be labelled as UTR, Reference ID, Transaction ID, or UPI Ref No. It is typically a 12–22 character alphanumeric string. Examples:
Launch PhonePe on your Android or iOS device and log in.
Tap the History icon (clock/passbook) at the bottom of the home screen.

Find and tap on the transaction you made to IJCRT.

On the transaction detail page, you will see a Transaction ID or UPI Ref No. - long-press it to copy.

Launch Google Pay and ensure you are signed in.
From the home screen, scroll down to Recent activity and tap the payment you made to IJCRT.

Scroll down in the transaction detail view. You will see UPI transaction ID - a long alphanumeric string starting with letters like "CICAg...".

Launch Paytm and log in to your account.
Tap the Passbook icon at the bottom menu or go to Profile → Passbook.

Tap on the IJCRT payment. You will see Order ID and Transaction ID / UTR listed in the details.

Visit your bank's website or mobile app and log in.
Navigate to Accounts → Transaction History or download your Account Statement for the relevant date.

Find the relevant transaction. The UTR Number (for NEFT/IMPS) or Reference Number will be shown next to the transaction. It usually starts with your bank's code followed by digits (e.g., HDFC0001234567890).

After a successful payment, your bank sends an SMS with the transaction details. Look for keywords like UTR, Ref No, or Transaction ID in the message.
Many banks and UPI apps send a payment confirmation email. Search your inbox for the merchant name or payment amount - the UTR / Reference Number will be listed in the email body.
